Bed Redesign, Shrub Planting, and Pine Straw Installation at 3209

Sometimes a yard just needs a full reset. The beds here had gotten overgrown and shapeless - nothing was working together as a cohesive design. The homeowner wanted something cleaner, with real structure and a little color to look forward to down the road. That's exactly what we set out to deliver.

We started by reshaping and redefining the beds throughout the front yard. Old shrubs that weren't pulling their weight got swapped out, and we brought in new shrubs and perennials that fit the layout better. The goal was a mix of plants that look good now and keep getting better - especially come spring when those perennials start popping.

Pine straw ties it all together. We laid fresh pine straw across the beds and used natural stone to add contrast along the edges. That combination - warm pine straw, clean stone borders, and well-placed shrubs - gives the whole front yard a polished, intentional look without overcomplicating things. It works with the home's style rather than against it.

What we really like about this one is that it's low maintenance but high impact. The new shrubs are sized right for their spots. The perennials will fill in nicely. And the pine straw keeps weeds down while making everything look sharp between visits. The homeowner gets a yard that's easy to keep up and genuinely looks great year-round.
