Overgrown shrubs have a way of sneaking up on you. One week they look fine, and the next they're pushing against the house, blocking windows, or just making the whole front of the property feel sloppy. It's one of those things that's easy to ignore until it really starts to show.

That's exactly what we were working with here. The foundation shrubs around the front and sides of this brick home had grown out past their shape. Nothing extreme - just enough to make the yard feel untidy. A good trim goes a long way toward pulling everything back together.

We shaped the bushes around the front porch, cleaned up the side of the house near the back entry, and made sure everything sat cleanly against the brick. The goal isn't to make it look over-manicured. It's to make it look intentional - like someone actually takes care of the place.

The lawn itself was mowed tight, and the whole property just reads differently when the shrubs and grass are both in check at the same time. It's one of those jobs where the work is subtle but the result is obvious. Neighbors notice. You notice every time you pull into the driveway.

Small stuff like this adds up. Keeping your shrubs shaped and your yard tidy on a regular basis prevents the kind of overgrowth that turns a one-hour job into a half-day project. Staying ahead of it is always easier than playing catch-up.
