Overgrown shrubs have a way of sneaking up on you. One week they look fine, and then suddenly they're pushing against the house, blocking windows, and just looking rough. It's one of those things that's easy to ignore until it starts dragging down the whole look of your property.

We handle properties with a lot going on - rounded boxwoods, tall cone-shaped shrubs, low hedgerows, sprawling barberry, long privacy hedges running the length of a backyard. Every variety needs to be approached a little differently. You can't just go at everything the same way and expect clean results. We take the time to read each shrub and shape it in a way that fits the plant.

The cleanup side of it matters just as much. A great cut with clippings left all over the place isn't a finished job - it's half a job. We make sure the beds and the surrounding lawn are left clean. The white river rock beds on some of these properties really show everything, so there's no cutting corners on the detail work.

Keeping up with your shrubs also does more than improve curb appeal. Regular trims promote healthier growth, help the plants hold their shape over time, and keep them from getting so overgrown that a hard cutback is the only option left. Staying ahead of it is always the easier path.

Whether it's a front-entry bed with a mix of ornamental shrubs or a long privacy hedge along the back of the yard, we bring the same level of care to all of it. Clean trim, clean finish - that's the standard we hold ourselves to on every property we touch.
