This townhouse in Wilson, NC needed some attention on two fronts - the brick surfaces and the landscaping. Both were doing the job, but neither was doing it well. Overgrown shrubs were starting to take over the foundation beds, and the brick walkways and steps had picked up the kind of grime that just builds up over time. Nothing dramatic, but enough to drag down the whole look of the place.
We handled the bush trimming first. Some of the shrubs along the front and sides had gotten pretty wild - spreading out well past where they should have been, blocking windows, and just looking untidy against what is actually a really sharp brick exterior. We shaped everything back down to clean, defined forms. Round boxwoods tightened up. Larger foundation shrubs brought back to a manageable size. That alone made a big difference.
Then came the pressure washing. The brick patio and steps out front had a layer of built-up dirt and organic staining that was making the whole entry area look tired. We worked through the entire surface - steps, landing, walkway - and got it back to looking the way it should. Brick cleans up really well under pressure washing when it's done right, and this one was no exception.
What we ended up with was a home that actually looks like someone takes care of it. The exterior is crisp. The shrubs are under control. The brick is clean. It's the kind of work that's easy to overlook until it's done - and then suddenly everything looks sharper and more put-together than it did before.
A clean exterior says a lot about a property. Whether you're a homeowner or managing a townhouse community in the Wilson area, keeping the surfaces clean and the landscaping trimmed is one of the most cost-effective things you can do for curb appeal. That's exactly the kind of work we do every day.
